Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Tayang (“Tayang”, “we”) collects when you use tayang.app and the Tayang app, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to make and post your videos.
01What we collect
When you use Tayang we collect:
- Account details: your name, email address and Google account ID when you sign in with Google.
- What you create: your series settings (niche, language, art style, voice, schedule), topics you add, music you upload or link, and the scripts, images, voiceovers and videos Tayang makes for you.
- Connected channels: when you connect TikTok or YouTube, the access tokens those platforms give us and your channel’s name and ID. Tokens are encrypted at rest.
- Billing records: your plan, your credit balance, and the customer and subscription IDs from our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
- Usage data: pages you visit, buttons you click, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and session recordings of how you use the app. Recordings mask everything you type.
02How we use it
- To make your videos and post them on the schedule you set.
- To run your account, plan and credit balance.
- To keep the service secure and to prevent abuse.
- To understand how people use Tayang so we can improve it.
- To email you about your account, payments and important changes. We do not send marketing email without your consent.
04YouTube and TikTok
Tayang uses the YouTube API Services to upload videos to the channel you connect, and to read that channel’s name. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
For TikTok, Tayang uses TikTok’s Login Kit and Content Posting API to read your basic profile and to post videos you approve or schedule.
You can disconnect a channel at any time on the Channels page. You can also revoke Tayang’s access from your Google account’s security settings or in TikTok under Settings, Security, Apps and services. Once you disconnect, we delete that channel’s tokens.
06How long we keep it
We keep your account and the videos you make for as long as your account is open, so you can download them again. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and files within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices, which our payment provider keeps for the periods tax law sets. Videos already posted to TikTok or YouTube stay there until you remove them on that platform.
07Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your personal data;
- correct data that is wrong;
- delete your account and data;
- stop using your data for analytics.
Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, data protection law (such as Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law or the GDPR) may give you further rights, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
08Security
We encrypt data in transit, encrypt connected-channel tokens and API keys at rest, and limit who can reach our systems. No service is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
09Children
Tayang is not for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10International transfers
Our providers may process your data outside your country, including in the United States. We use providers that protect your data with safeguards required by law.
11Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and email you before any change that affects how we use your data. See also our Terms of Service.
